????What you will be working with…

Forecasting and Planning

• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data to create accurate demand forecasts for electronic components.
• Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to predict product demand over the next 24 months.
• Continuously improve and update forecasting tools to reflect production schedule and communicate any change to relevant stakeholders.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and consumption patterns.
• Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and propose corrective actions to minimize waste and carrying costs.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Update and maintain accuracy of Supply Chain Master Data to support forecasting activities with efficiency.

Order Management:

• Generate and manage purchase orders for electronic components based on production schedules and forecasted demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of electronic components and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.
• Work closely with suppliers to understand lead times and factor them into production plans.
• Anticipate and address any delays in the supply chain to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to understand market trends, lead times, and any potential supply chain disruptions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the production planning and scheduling functions.
• Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of planning processes.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the forecasting and planning processes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, logistics, and production partners to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals.

Risk Management:

• Proactively identify potential risks to the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact the availability of electronic components.
