How will you contribute?

You will be contributing to the research and development of a new method for the specification and implementation of adaptive / plastic user interfaces. This new method will be integrated within the BESSER low-code platform infrastructure.

This research will be performed as part of a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Jordi Cabot.

You will be in charge of:

• Evaluate existing techniques for the model-driven development of User interfaces

• Create new Domain-Specific Languages to facilitate the definition and execution of such interfaces.

• Develop new machine learning inference algorithms to guess the best interface for a given user profile

• Implement these approaches on top of the BESSER platform

• Lead research papers presenting and promoting these ideas

• Collaborate in other AI and low-code related initiatives going on or under preparation in the team

Education

Bac+5, graduated in IT security

Expertise required in:

• Large Language Models

• Software modeling and low-code technologies

• Advanced user interfaces (e.g. chatbots)

• Low-resource languages including Luxembourgish

• Have completed a master's degree in Computer Science or related areas

• Previous experience in conducting and publishing research in any of the above areas is a plus

Language skills

• Good level both written and spoken English and French
