Our client is an international company specializing in home improvement and building products. We seek an experienced Paralegal Officer to join the European legal team in Luxembourg. You will report to the Assistant General Counsel and manage commercial and corporate governance matters in Europe and Asia.

Primary duties and responsibilities :

• Work with European, Asian, and U.S. Legal teams on contracts, marketing reviews, investigations, legal research, and training.

• Prepare documents for corporate subsidiaries in the EMEA region. Keep accurate records of officers and directors and manage the subsidiary database.

• Organize and maintain legal records, contracts, and intellectual property. Manage electronic files and systems.

• Support board meetings by coordinating with in-house counsel and business leaders.

• Develop and maintain cost-efficient legal solutions.

• Assist the E.U. and Asian Legal teams with office tasks and maintain business processes, databases, and systems.

• Handle additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in an international company or law firm. Experience with a U.S. public company is preferred.

• Legal education such as Rechtsanwalts- oder Notariatsfachangestellte(r) or 1. Jur. Staatsexamen is preferred but not required.

• Strong organizational and research skills.

• Customer-service orientation.

• Fluency in English and German is required. Knowledge of French is a plus.
