The Operations Data Analyst reports to the Manager Process Improvements & Projects and forms part of Central Engineering and Planning Team.

- Develop Automations for data gathering from different sources across the organisation using latest platforms such as Python

- Perform detailed analysis, interpretation including trends and launch proposed initiatives based on the outcome of the data

- Participate in developing targets based on statistical analytical data models

- Create visualisation of data reports to enable use from key users within One Planning and Engineering (OPE) and Aircraft Maintenance Services (AMS)

- Take an active role in the implementation of solutions for process improvements within the department, focusing on efficiency and EBIT potential gains

- Provides regular and ad hoc analytical reporting to management

- Run the KPis related to OPE, manage changes needed by the business unit and suggest improvements

Ihr Profil:

- University degree in relevant engineering subject or in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Analysis or equivalent OR possessing the competence, acquired either informally or through formal education, to be able to deal with the requirements of the position

- Knowledge / experience of aircraft planning & engineering, maintenance or quality will be considered as an asset

- Proven Academical Experience in data handling, visualization, identifying trends

- Academic Proficiency in digital tools related to the field of data analysis, automation and visualisation like Power BI, R, Python and Tableau

- Performs tasks without detailed supervision and self motivated

- Excellent organizational and planning skills

- Excellent analytical skills

- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Lufthansa Technik Malta Ltd. (LTM) was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (92%) and Air Malta (8%). The MRO service provider (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), based at Malta International Airport in Luqa, provides its customers with line and base maintenance services for short haul and long haul aircraft in the Airbus A320/A330/340/350 series. Initially specializing in C Checks and comprehensive aircraft modifications, the company has now significantly expanded its service portfolio following the construction of a 64,000 square meter hangar complex. The spectrum of services offered has grown to encompass extensive maintenance work with wide ranging capabilities including structural and composite fibre repairs, complex testing procedures and comprehensive cabin refits. The 600 strong workforce can work on up to three long haul aircraft or five medium and long haul aircraft at any one time in the new hangar complex, expanded to cater for wide body aircraft. The hangars are used primarily for C Checks and aircraft overhauls. Lufthansa Technik Malta also collaborates with the renowned Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) for the purpose of training and apprenticeship schemes. The strategically favorable location in the Mediterranean region of southern Europe, with its proximity to Africa and to the Arabian Peninsula, gives Lufthansa Technik Malta a special role within the Lufthansa Group.
