IT Operational Risk Officer – CDI (m/f). Luxemburgo

The Risk Management Department is responsible for the risk control function of the Bank, covering both Financial Risk and Operational Risk matters.

Positioned as the second line of defence (2LoD), the Risk Management Department collaborates with the first line of defence (1LoD) to ensure a comprehensive assessment, monitoring, and reporting of existing and emerging risks to the senior management, fostering continuous risk awareness.

Within the Operational Risk Management function, we are looking for an Operational Risk Officer on a permanent contract.

Role Overview:

As an Operational Risk Officer within the Operational Risk Management function, your primary responsibilities will focus on:

 Participate in the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework with a focus on ICT and Cyber risks and outsourcing / third parties.

Key tasks include:

- Challenging risk owners reporting and actions plans related to Operational Risk events.

- Support risk owners on their risk and control assessment process, providing regular status reports on risks.

- Review the status of key risk indicators and the level of risk for the respective areas.

 Support the preparation of regular risk reports to the management and specialized committees.

 Participation in specific projects.

Job requirements:

Education and Experience:

 Studies in IT or other technical subjects. In case of different background experience will be more relevant.

 Experience on IT and Information Security matters whether directly or in roles such as an auditor / operational risk functions.

 Good understanding of data management processes and operating models including data governance, data architecture, data lineage, data quality and management reporting.

Skills and Knowledge:

 Strong analysis and reporting skills.

 Knowledge and awareness of regulatory requirements.

 Good understanding Funds and Banking industry, including regulations, will be consider a plus.

 Good command of MS Office applications.

Language and Communication:

 Fluent in English, written and spoken.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
