OCC Maintenance Engineer (Instandhaltungstechniker/in)

Your main tasks include, among others:

- Evaluating customer requests; coordinating capacity and ground time for all required actions and related costs together with the production unit, production management, and the customer Coordinating on-time performance according to customer requirements

- Handling and controlling supplier invoices and customer events

- Preparing and communicating information relevant to customer maintenance events

- Preparing and following up on maintenance events for customers

- Assigning specific tasks and participating in project/task force teams

- Responsible for the document return process after performing maintenance

- Collecting used man-hours, materials, and tooling for maintenance events to support the invoicing process

- Recording maintenance event-related expenditures and supporting the invoicing process

- Ensuring proper task handover from the ending shift to the incoming shift on a rotational basis

- Cooperating with the Maintenance Shift Leader to maintain reliable and updated data for maintenance tasks

Ihr Profil:

The ideal OCC Maintenance Engineer should meet the following requirements:

- High school certificate is required

- Proficiency in English and Italian is required

- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance and the related maintenance schedule is required

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, AirNav and Toolbox

- Assumption of responsibility for own role

- Responsiveness, dynamism, flexibility in caring out assigned tasks

- Attention to quality of work and reliability

- Ability to prioritize activity assigned

- Cooperation skills

- Effective communication at every organizational level

- Service / Customer Orientation

- Building relationship based on trust with internal and external customers

- Must possess a legal work permit in Italy

Since September 2010 Lufthansa Technik Milan is approved for A-Checks on A330 and Base Maintenance on A320 Family enabling it to carry out more extensive maintenance work at the Malpensa base like for example engine and APU changes, structural repairs, complex modification, engine washes, air turbine tests, borescope inspections and full engine run-ups amongst other services.
