Are you a positive and dedicated person with background in working with jet engines? In that case, you could be our next Jet Engine Mechanic.

We are looking for Jet Engine Mechanics to join our hospital shop visit team (SPAH) in our steadily developing and growing MRO - GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES), located at the Helsinki Airport in Vantaa, Finland. This is a full-time permanent position in an international and dynamic company, overhauling jet engines for our customers worldwide.

SPAH is a separate team within our MRO that is dedicated to perform surgical quick turn engine repairs onsite and offsite.

As a member of the SPAH team, your main tasks would be:

CFM56-5B/7B & CF6-80C2 Special Procedures

Pre/Post Lease/Purchase inspections

On wing inspections & repairs

Top/Bottom Case repairs

Module replacements

Engine Test Run & Preservation

MPD Tasks renewal

Compressor/Turbine Blade/Vane replacement

In addition, you would also participate in inspections (including engine Borescope), cleaning, material planning and handling. Hospital shop visits are ad hoc type visits, meaning this position might require flexible working hours.

As our future jet engine mechanic, ideally you would have:

3 + years of hands-on experience working with jet engines

CFM56-5B/7B certifications valid

Good English language skills to communicate, be able to read & interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins

Ability to communicate shop visit information with customers

No hesitation to take responsibility and accountability

Willingness to shift work

Solid computer skills

Flexibility with working times

Strong motivation to learn new things
