Now is your chance to take on a life-changing career in a new position as Robotics and Automation Engineer and help Novo Nordisk program and implement robots and automation within Device Metrology Laboratory in Novo Nordisk’s Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) in Hillerød.About the departmentYou will be part of Device Metrology, where we count 35 employees who drive and support the metrology activities across the device manufacturing area in Hillerød.
You will join a department consisting of 3 units.
A calibration service centre office, an equipment support unit designing, qualifying and maintaining process control equipment and a metrology lab unit developing measurement setups and measuring geometrics on plastic components for prefilled devices.
In the Metrology Lab, you will join a team of 16 highly dedicated and experienced colleagues.The positionAs Robotics and Automation Engineer, your primary responsibility is to support the metrology lab within robotics and automation, 3D printing and validation of the equipment.In particular, you drive projects regarding introduction of new robots or automation solutions.
You configure and test robots and ensure relevant documentation is made.
You provide support, and you are responsible for planning and delivering maintenance of the validated state on measurement and robot equipment in the laboratory including preparation of the team’s deviations on equipment and evaluation reports.Furthermore, you design 2/3D drawings and test gluing fixtures, part fixtures and stylus systems.
This is done together with skilled colleagues, using amongst others 3D printers.
Documentation from design through to test up until operations is key to the job.We expect you to constantly look for opportunities to optimise maintenance and efficiency of both robots, fixtures, and measurement set-ups thereby increasing the speed and quality of measurements.This is an exciting time for join the Device Metrology department as we are expanding and investing in the newest technologies, such as new scanners, robots and 3D printers.
You can look forward to becoming a key person in the team regarding robotics and automation.QualificationsYou have an education as mechanical engineer or similar.
Ideally, you have gained some experience within robotics and automation and it is an advantage if you have experience with robots from Universal Robots.
However, we also welcome applications from newly graduated candidates with a strong interest and knowledge of automation and robotics.To succeed in the role, we expect you to have excellent analytical skills and an ability to think and process high level of details of the development of fixtures and robot solutions.
You are able to design and document and have experience with working in a structured manner and always thinking testing quality into your deliverables.
Additionally, you have excellent social skills, enabling you to collaborate at all levels in the organisation, from guiding technicians to presenting to management.
