Mechanical Design Engineer - DTU Electro. Københavns omegn

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who is skilled in innovative design process and robot conceptualization.

The job

Your tasks and responsibilities will cover:

• Technical development of innovative mining robot, including:
  • 3d design of robot mechanisms for mining robots
  • Rapid prototyping and testing of mechanisms

• Support researchers with 3d CAD modelling (SolidWorks) and Finite element analysis (FEM)
• Design for manufacturing and Assembly (DFM, DFA)
• Purchase of material and inventory.

Our expectations of you

You have a BSc degree in Mechanical engineering, possibly with a specialization in industrial design or similar. You have experience in product conceptualization, product design and rapid prototyping. You are proactive and take responsibilities for your work, and you are a team player.

Salary and appointment terms

The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
