Purpose:

Within a prestigious international financial institution,the individual will contribute to the development and implementation of Institutional Mandates within the organisation. This includes the origination, development and monitoring of mandates or products in this area, as well as their implementation in coordination with the relevant services of the *establishment.

Operating Network:

You will work in close collaboration with the other team members and will report day to day to the Head of Division and the Head of Unit.

The role will require financial structuring of new products, drafting skills, good business acumen, a positive approach, multitasking and strong interpersonal skills, including willingness to learn and adapt to the team dynamics with the objective to ensure smooth, proactive and constructure collaboration within the team and the various stakeholders of the organisation.

Core responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of new mandates, in particular in the Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Funds areas, as well as new structured products/transactions in the fields of climate and environment, including ongoing liaison with the division's key counterparts;

• Coordinate accordingly the internal mandate development process in close cooperation with the team and other departments of the organisation;

• Actively engage ontribute in the institution 's role in the design and implementation of institutional initiatives.;

• Partake to the development of a network of high level/quality internal/intra-Group contacts including the implementation and management of relevant governance and coordination structures;

• Management of transversal projects, in view of developing and managing business related in particular to climate and environment;

• Draft operational and approval documentation;

• Participate to the design of analytical and performance-related reports;

• Play a significant role in the implementation of the business plan (mandate management and mandate acquisition), diligent participation in the research, identification of new business opportunities, preparation of proposals, client presentations and follow-up of client relationships;

• Work closely with relevant teams to facilitate and streamline access to necessary data & information.

Qualifications:

• University degree, preferably at post-graduate level, in Finance, Engineering, Economics or Business Administration;

• Excellent excel modelling skills;

• Between 5 and 7 years of relevant and practical professional experience in the financial sector, with a focus on structuring and implementing financial/investment products;

• Proven experience in financial analysis, interpretation of financial and legal documentation, and quantitative financial competencies;

• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other EU languages would be considered an advantage.

Competencies:

• Excellent execution capabilities and track record in delivering results in teams;

• Prior managerial experience with responsibility over assigned targets would be a plus;

• Familiarity with EU financial instruments and regulations;

• Strong technical expertise and know-how in the structuring of sophisticated mandates and financial products in the area of debt and equity

• Clear understanding of traditional and alternative finance space and connectivity to the market;

• Impartial business judgement and connecting multiple aspects of the business;

• Sense of initiative, creativity and strong problem-solving capacity is crucial for the role;

• Accountability and sense of ownership;

• Teamwork oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and ease in dealing with internal and external clients;

• Ability to work with tight deadlines, to respond quickly to new situations and to anticipate issues;

• Willingness and proven ability to acquire new skills.
