OVERVIEW

This role assumes responsibility for the conceptualisation and development of award winning communication ideas.

Responsibilities / Key Performance Indictors (KPIs):

Designing and art directing award winning layouts (look and feel/layouts for print, poster, digital, social interactive & outdoor advertising and television) in line with creative concept, communication strategy and brief. Maintain a high level of creativity, in either concept and design based work.

Agency Performance

Day-to-day creative management of all projects allocated on one or more accounts,

from conceptualisation through to production.

Understand, analyse, interpret and sometimes question and revise creative briefs.

Conceptualising and creating a vehicle to express a thought or message

Present ideas internally.

Preparing work to be presented to client, supported by a creative rationale.

Writing final copy.

Work closely and in co-operation with senior creatives, strategic planning and client service department under the direction of the creative director.

Ensure delivery of exceptional creative solutions.

Development of pro-active concepts and ideas (in the absence of a formal brief) for presentation to client.

Assistance with pitches and new business presentations as required

Win local and international advertising awards

Be aware of current trends & techniques within advertising

Being a professional ambassador constantly representing Core in a positive light

Commercial Performance

Ensure successful delivery of all client briefs on time and within budget

Ensure timesheets are up to date and are delivered on time

Experience

Hold a degree/diploma in Advertising or Design, alternatively minimum of 3 -5 years’ previous Creative Agency experience with proven track record

Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote and PowerPoint
