The job includes a variety of tasks in with logistics and cleaning. The Employee will be part of the team that takes care of cleaning apartments, equipment logistics and preparing for the activities.

The persons hired must already be based in Tromsø and with all appropriate work visas.

Main tasks

• Packing down from tours

• Preparing equipment for tours

• Cleaning tasks in our office, vehicles and our apartments

Required skills

• Language proficiency in English required, both oral and written

• Good organizational and communication skills, structured and solution-oriented thinking

• Ability to work in a team and in a busy work environment

• Equipment management and logistics

Additional desired skills

• Speaks good English

What we expect from you

We are looking for a positive and hard-working person, who will be flexible taking different tasks and work with a changing schedule - but typically within the same working day. The schedule and tasks can change last minute - depending on the bookings we have as well as the environmental conditions as well as a vehicle or team member being out of action.

The typical working day is 10:30 - 18:30 Sunday - Thursday.

The winter-time is hectic period for us and the work requires ability to handle stress, to solve problems and to adapt to last-minute changes.

The person/s needs to be comfortable with changes, be comfortable with being flexible and to fit into our existing team.

The person/s need to be available and willing to work weekends and to work during Christmas.

Wandering Owl is a tourism company located in Tromsø. The main activities we offer are northern lights tours, hikes and sightseeing tours as well as accommodation in our rental apartments. Our main season is winter from September to April, but we operate also in the summer.
