Do you want to help create a world that runs entirely on green energy?  Join us and become Lead Regulatory Adviser in the Energy Economics team where you’ll be responsible for ensuring a profound dialogue on the regulatory framework in the EU and in our footprint-countries and to advice on concrete business decisions.   The team is a new team in the Regulatory Affairs department working with wind power, bioenergy and new related business opportunities. We consist of three people located in Gentofte in Denmark and in Brussels.  

Your key tasks will be to 

  • conduct regulatory analysis of the framework for key business areas 
  • be responsible for managing economic analysis of the transition of the energy sector in collaboration with the business units  
  • provide regulatory analytical basis for decision-making and present the results in a sharp and understandable way  
  • follow the development of the European energy policies and the energy policy in countries relevant for the business units 
  • develop and align our regulatory positions and communication across our footprint. 

 Your competences include that you 

  • have a master's degree in economics or similar 
  • have several years’ experience working with regulation of the energy sector, preferably with the regulation of transmission grids and/or electricity market design (the right profile with less experience may be considered for a lower position) 
  • have strong analytical skills, a sound rational analytic approach and experience with project management 
  • are an inspiring team player as well as an efficient and independent analyst with a flair for bringing new solutions into play 
  • have strong verbal and written communication skills – especially in English.
