Junior CNC Operator (Trainee position). Irlanda

A Kildare-based high quality stairs supply business CUSTOM STAIRS JOINERY LIMITED established for almost 10 years, we are hiring a full-time Junior CNC operator (trainee position) to assistant increasing our productivity and the quality of our finished products. The working location is at our factory: Unit 1 Oldmill industrial estate, Kill Newrow, Oldmill, Kill, Co. Kildare, Ireland.

This position is providing a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level CNC operator to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Minimum annual salary €34,000 per year.  

Hours of work: 39 hours per week.  

Responsibilities:

    Reading and understanding specifications of blueprints, mechanical drawings and other technical documents.

    Preparing computer numerical control (CNC) files that enable the machines to perform the correct function

    Performing daily and regular cleaning and maintaining CNC machine

    Preparing stairs components

    Assembling stairs and assistant to supply high quality stairs to private and commercial customers

    Participating in regular training and safety classes

    Complying with all company policies and all safety guidelines/ standards

    General duties required by factory manager

Requirements:

    A high school diploma or equivalent is required

    Analytical skills

    problem-solving skills

    Basic software skills, Engineering skills, particularly mechanical engineering are especially advantageous

    Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and meet project deadlines.

    Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

    Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team

    Experience working in manufacturing preferred but not essential
