Responsibilities

Mission : The Investment Manager belongs to a team in charge of promoting the overall Wealth Management offer, with a focus on Discretionary and Advisory Mandates. She/He assists the commercial teams in the business development, to onboard new clients and animate existing clients.  She/He manages a book of clients within Advisory Mandates and regularly updates clients with the status of their Discretionary Mandates.          

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Promote discretionary and advisory mandates (the promotion of discretionary mandates being a priority for the Investment Manager) respecting both prospect/client expectations and client risk profile ;

• Manage discretionary or advisory mandates respecting: i) the client risk profile, ii) the client constraints, iii) the CIO's View, iv) the investment universe, v) the local regulation/constraints/SGPBS processes (cross border, LPCC, Avaloq, etc.), still providing clients with an important level of service including expertise and proactivity ;

• Animate CRMs (CRM desk weekly meeting, SGPB House View updates, investment opportunities, Symphonie/Select offering follow up, etc.) ;      

• Actively participate to local Strategic/Tactical, Equity, Fixed Income and Alternative committees ;

• Participate in the sourcing of new investment solutions/ideas for the whole team especially when being identified as “product specialist” ;        

• Work closely with the bankers, Marketing and Sales Management teams to better know your clients and increase their satisfaction level (increase the pro activity level when promoting investment solutions, improve the level of follow up, etc.) ;

• Promote “Alternative” investment solutions to CRMs/clients when appropriate especially Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Structured Products solutions and OTC Derivatives ;    

• Actively contribute in the increase of the net new money asset for the bank for both existing clients and prospects by supporting bankers in their marketing and client acquisition activity (commercial NNMA contribution).        

Required profile

• Expert in asset allocation, Strong expertise in cross asset investment solutions (structured products & OTC derivatives, funds, hedge funds, private equity solutions, listed solutions, etc.) ;  

• Able to manage Advisory portfolios respecting their risk profiles and their investment constraints ;

• Able to trade all types of investment solutions including FX solutions and OTC derivatives ;

• Fluent in English and French; Additional language is a plus ;    

• Ability to meet and advise Ultra High Net Worth clients ;

• D-level position ;

• Position subject to phone recording ;

• Position subject to MIFII.
