Are you passionate about microbiology and eager to dive into the world of bacterial fermentation?

Join us for an internship in our Fermentation R&D team at the European Innovation Center of FMC (Hørsholm), where you'll work on an exciting discovery project focused on biofungicide development.

This is your chance to get hands-on experience with shake flask cultures and bench-top scale fermentation, playing a role in our process development efforts.

What you'll be doing:

• Fermentation Runs: Prepare, run, and collect data from bacterial fermentation processes using shake flasks or bench-top bioreactors.
• Media and Inoculum Prep: Get hands-on with preparing and sterilizing media and inoculum and learn the ins and outs of sampling and analysis.
• Lab Maintenance: Help keep the lab in tip-top shape with regular cleaning.
• Data Management: Document your data meticulously, and report analytical results to help push our biofungicide project forward.

Who we're looking for:

• You're studying to become a process technologist or have a background in fermentation, microbiology, biochemical engineering, or a related field.
• A genuine interest in bacterial fermentation (and maybe a passion for it!) is a big plus.
• You're comfortable communicating in English, both in writing and speaking.
