Insolvency Cashiering Manager A vacancy has arisen in a busy Cashiering Department of an expanding insolvency practice. The role is to manage, motivate and support the team of Cashiers. To ensure compliance across all cases. Manage the workload. Ensuring all cases are compliant with regards to reconciliations and the recording of entries. To demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills, to increase levels of technical knowledge for the whole team. To liaise with other Departments to ensure quality of service, service levels and implement processes to improve standards. Duties & responsibilities: The candidate will be working as part of a small but busy cashiering department. Responsibilities will include: Responsible for ensuring that all work is undertaken within the specified timescales. Allocation/monitoring of tasks through the virtual document system. To ensure consistency, in particular when dealing with monies received, as well as ensuring that all associated fees and disbursements are drawn in line with the requirements of the business. Ensuring all time spent on cases is recorded accurately on the Company’s time reporting system. To identify and report all training needs for members of the team. To be fully aware of any problematic cases within the team caseload, and ensure that appropriate measures are taken in such cases. To mentor and guide team members Maintaining close liaison with Managers/Directors regarding any problems or queries relating to staff performance. To conduct Reviews and Appraisals of team members Experience and personal qualities: Our ideal candidate will be: Experienced in management within a legal environment. Approachable, excellent interpersonal skills, possessing a calming and positive demeanor. Team player. Self-motivated. Excellent time management skills. Be constantly searching for ways to improve systems and processes; prepared to follow through on ideas taking account of the views and advice of all concerned parties. Excellent I.T., literacy and numerical skills. The ability to prioritise workloads, remain organised while meeting challenging deadlines. A flexible attitude – able to adapt to change Hours – 37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
