We’re on a mission to make it easy and exciting to live more sustainably, every day! Together with Indo Naturals, you can work towards cleaner oceans through zero-waste products that provide income and empowerment to rural communities in India. Creating awareness, and getting easy messages across, is an essential part of this.

We have a collection of exciting everyday products, each with an inspiring story of how it was made. Our marketing revolves around balancing promoting the product's direct benefits for the customer and sharing intriguing information about the product's impact and our impact model.

The position mainly revolves around working independently on tasks agreed upon during a weekly meeting with management. The intern can work on these tasks quite flexibly. The tasks largely revolve around Social Media planning, creating, and scheduling. Independent thinking and strategic planning are important. The intern is encouraged to take charge of their own role and come up with new ideas and recommendations to continuously improve our marketing.

Work times: partly flexible

Work location: flexible (remote working/digital)

Duration: 6+ months

Workload: 12+ hours / week

Meetings: about 1 / week (1 hour)

Skills:

• Driven on Social Media content creating

• Strategic thinker (works towards goals and can set up strategies to reach them)

• Detail-oriented (in the form of text writing and visual content)

• Text editor (like to look through texts and improve it)

• Experience with design on Canva

• Team player (active listening, active communicator, accept that others editing your text and content)

• Ability to work independently

• Actively use our marketing strategy and branding kit

• Strategic content creating 

• Text editing and storytelling

• Simple photo editing and graphic designing (Canva)

• Posting on SoMe (Business Suit)

• Helping manage FB and Google Ads

Indo Naturals delivers zero-plastic everyday products helping people on the journey to a sustainable lifestyle. The products are made utilizing the vast natural resources of rural India. These resources are often left unused, while millions of people living within the nature, are increasingly getting poorer. Producing plant-based products in India is a unique opportunity to reduce plastic waste from everyday lives in Scandinavia and Norway, while contributing to reduced poverty in rural India.

We are a small team of Scandinavians and Indians working across borders to create both a zero-waste brand and a disruption of business as usual. The social purpose of Indo Naturals drives the team forward through the challenges arising when starting a company based on International trade and strong ethical standards. This drive probably comes from our shared love for exploring nature and new cultures, and therefore our strong desire to preserve the oceans, the natural world, and the diversity of the human world society.
