Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:

Responsibilities

    Ensure all employees current contract and staff handbooks issued are in line with requisite legislation. Amend update as necessary.

    Conduct an audit of all memos and documented discussions with employees to ensure these are in line with requisite legislation.

    Evaluate current time and attendance software (TMS by Mitrefinch) manage clockings, amend and correct clocking anomalies.

    Maintain employee records and ensure all data on new hires, terminations, changes in job classifications, tracking annual leave, public holidays, sick, and work time is up to date at all times.

    Liaise with Operations and Production departments to ensure rosters are issued in line with organizational working time act.

    Liaise with finance department and maintain payroll details including gross to net, rates per hour, deductions, shift premium allowances, and bonuses (at this stage successfully candidate is not required to do payroll)

    Responding to HR queries from employees, dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.

    Managing correspondence with employees.

    Updating company policies and procedures.

    Planning and scheduling staff training in liaison with various departments.

    Interpreting and advising on employment legislation.

     Periodic employee evaluations and performance reviews.  

Health and Safety

    Organising safety audits and advising on safety management systems;

    identifying training needs of employees, and identifying appropriate training courses, as well as additional competence requirements;

    advising management of action that needs to be taken to reduce occupational risks;

    liaising with safety representatives (if appointed) to cooperate whenever necessary;

    keeping records of examinations, tests, inspections, accidents, including illnesses, dangerous occurrences, and emergency exercises;

    increasing safety awareness within the company by regular staff and management briefings;

    acting as a liaison person with visitors coming onto site, ensuring their safety procedures are in order and ensuring that they are provided with the same standards of health and safety requirements as company employees;

    investigating accidents, occupational illnesses and dangerous occurrences;
