Working within a fast-moving environment this role will involve the development of NPD samples and supporting documents such as recipes, processing requirements, reports, and chemical analysis reports

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:

•    Plan, organise and run NPD trials, chemical analysis, trial reports, shelf-life studies etc.

•    Actively engage with the New Product Introduction process to develop new products

•    Oversee pre-production runs of new products, take samples, and record results

•    Liaise with quality and production departments in relation to new product launches

•    Create raw material and finished product specifications

•    Research and source new ingredients

•    Record all information in relation to samples dispatched to and correspondence with the customer

•    Communicate clearly and participate effectively with cross-functional teams within the business

•    Actively engage and support the NPD team to develop new products

Qualifications/ Experience/ Skills:

•    Graduate with up to 1-years’ experience of Food industry/related discipline

•    A relevant third-level qualification e.g. Food Science or equivalent

•    Strong communication and organisational skills

•    Demonstrate an energetic, self-motivated, and flexible approach in all matters

•    Proficient in MS Office and other relevant systems
