Attuned Programmes Ireland an organization responding to meet the needs of vulnerable young people with through community, residential and aftercare supports and services is looking for highly motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.
We are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistant for our Disability Service. Attuned Programmes to provide residential care and community-based outreach support to young people and vulnerable adults. Our aim is to support and meet young people and adults where they are at, and to identify and navigate towards positive outcomes in a safe and respectful manner that takes account of their individual needs.
General Job Description:
The successful candidates will be dedicated and highly motivated; they will already possess high levels of competence and will be able to demonstrate this through their qualification and some experience in meeting regulatory requirements, best practice standards and ultimately an understanding of the varied needs of vulnerable young people.
The role is to support young people in developing self-care and independent living skills while helping them to develop the capacity and opportunity to eventually live an independent life in the community.
Requirements:
Minimum Fetac/QQI Level 5 qualification or equivalent, minimum 1 year experience working as Healthcare assistant or in a similar role
involving direct resident care.
Be deeply committed to resident’s’ rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic and at times challenging environment.
Knowledge of all relevant legislation.
Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing and planning skills.
This post is subject to Garda clearance.
A full clean driving licence is desirable.

times challenging environment.
