Your position 

In your new role as Head of Tender Management you will join our market leading Renewables division with one of the largest project portfolios in offshore substations worldwide. 

Here, you will lead our dedicated Tender team to ensure competitive and strategic bids aligned with our division’s goals. You will have the chance to shape tender strategies and make significant contributions to our industry-leading projects. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector. 

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10-25 days per year. 

Your tasks & responsibilities 

As our Head of Tender Management, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing our bid management process, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with strategic goals within our Renewables division.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive tender strategies for our Offshore Substation business.
• Leading the preparation, submission and follow-up of tenders to ensure competitiveness and alignment with customers.
• Managing and developing the Tender team for optimal performance and collaboration.
• Collaborating closely with our Product Line Management team to align tender strategies and technical solutions.
• Monitoring and enhancing the effectiveness of tendering processes to improve success rates and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring high quality and accurateness in tenders.

Your profile & qualifications 

We are looking for a proactive and organized individual who is passionate about renewable energy and thrive in a leadership role. You possess a can-do attitude and have excellent cooperation- and communication skills across all levels.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in tender management or project management within complex EPC projects.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of the renewable energy market and its regulatory environment.
• The ability to manage risks effectively and drive continuous improvement in tender processes.
• Outgoing nature that allows you to create and strengthen our external partnerships and customer relations.
• You are attentive to quality and details even when the environment is dynamic.
• Has a good commercial understanding of complex EPC contracts. 
• Fluency in English, verbal and written
