Head Chef. Mid-West. Irlanda

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers, ensuring high quality and contentment. Working hours: 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

o Control and direct the food preparation process and any other related activities.

o Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring variety and quality.

o Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff.

o Oversee the work of subordinates.

o Comply with nutrition, HACCP, sanitation regulations, and safety standards.

o Preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, including chopping, marinating, skewering kebabs, and grilling meats.

o Creating Tandoori bread such as naan, roti, and paratha.

o Collaborating closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely food delivery.

o Enhance the skills of subordinate chefs.

Requirement and Skill

o Minimum Diploma in relevant field.

o Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef

o Good understanding of useful computer programs like Word and POS.

o Exceptional ability in kitchen management.

o Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

o Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.

o Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS) is required but not essential.
