The Group Head of Lending Operations owns the end-to-end process on our delivery of lending solutions and services to clients of Quintet Group. The function is key in driving excellence and transformation of the lending business, targeting improved efficiency, increased standardisation and automation, reduced costs and delivery against Client Service Level Targets.

Key Accountabilities

    Act as the senior leader of the Group Lending Operations team, represented in each of our locations

    Own the end-to-end process for the Lending business (including technology) by ensuring Client Service Level Targets are met and processes are run efficiently and in accordance with policies

    Act as a senior leader for the Lending transformation and implementation of new workflows (incl. drive the develop of a digital credit approval tool)

    Generate synergies by streamlining processes and alignment across Locations

    Ensure regulatory obligations for the lending business are met

    Responsible for maintaining and, as required by client engagement, drafting all loan documentation (incl. changes to existing documentation)

    Perform daily monitoring of collateral shortfall, unpaid interest, covenant breaches, etc,

    Ensure that all post drawdown processes are performed in time and with the adequate level of controls (e.g. Renewals, Property Validation valuations, insurance certificates, annual credit reviews for standard flow business  etc.)

    Business owner of Lending reporting (Financial and Credit Risk). Ensure appropriate data quality and harmonisation

Knowledge and Experience

    At least 10-15 years of experience in lending businesses

    Strong understanding of UK and EU regulations (credit consumer regulations, MCD, etc.)

    Strong track record in leading team during transformation

Attributes and Qualities

    Strong interpersonal skills allowing interaction on senior management level

    Ability to understand complexity and propose pragmatic solutions

    Ability to take concept into implementation and “get things done”

Technical Skills

    Strong understanding of core banking systems like G2

    Good knowledge on Business Intelligence & Data Management

    Expert knowledge on MS Office

Languages Skills

    Fluent in English

    French or any other language would be an asset
