You will support in monitoring safety-relevant aircraft and cargo handling processes. By conducting audits throughout the network, you will contribute to ensuring compliance with regulatory specifications, SWISS processes and requirements.

- Plan, prepare and conduct safety, security and compliance related audits (2-4 days) independently within ground and cargo operations in the entire network

- Compile audit report, reflecting detected non-compliances, safety issues, overall situation and best practices

- Ensure adequate corrective actions, based on congruent root cause analysis, are defined by auditee within due time

- Assure defined corrective actions are properly implemented within due time

- Perform risk evaluation on all detected non-compliances

- Train, coach and guide new ground operations and cargo auditors

- Support in Ground and Cargo Compliance monitoring programme back-office tasks (e.g. ensure all Auditors are current in their training)

Ihr Profil:

- Several years of experience in aircraft ground or cargo operations

- Experience in auditing or in other quality/ compliance management functions advantageous

- Thorough Knowledge of ground and/or cargo handling (aircraft handling, load control, passenger handling, A/C de-icing, security, emergency response, station management, safety / quality management, training)

- Willingness to travel globally (approx.50%)

- Fluent in written and spoken German and English, other languages would be an advantage

- Strong analytical skills, quick perception of organizational setups and processes

- Assertiveness and conflict management skills

- Persuasive personality with natural authority

- Very good communication skills

- High intercultural skills

- Knowledge of aviation legal requirements advantageous
