Junior Customer Support Engineer

We are looking for flexible, energetic, and self-motivated Junior Customer Support Engineer to join our Customer Support Team. In this role you will be main point of contact for any technical issues during shop visits in collaboration with Customer Support Account Manager.

Main responsibilities:

Communicate & advise customers on technical matters during & after engine shop visits

Prepare and analyze engine workscopes for engine bids and current customers

Lead Table Inspections together with Customer Support Account Manager

Internal liaison between customer support and engineering/planning/inspection/production

Prepare training & presentations for commercial team

Supporting technical evaluation for proposals including:

oEvaluate Service Bulletin's (SB's) and Airworthiness Directives (AD's)

oEvaluation of Configuration, borescope details, last shop visit data

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience as Jet Engine Power Plant Engineer

Solid knowledge of Engine MRO business and CF6/CFM56 engines

B.Sc. or M. SC. in Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical engineering or equivalent qualification

Technical expert with a commercial and customer focused mindset

Ability to read, understand and interpret OEM Manuals

Previous knowledge of IFS or similar ERP system

Strong knowledge and use of Excel and MS Office

Ability to perform well under pressure

Strong risk analysis & decision making ability

Fluent communication skills in English

Flexibility in working hours

Excellent team working and organizing skills

Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

Ability to travel for occasional customer visits & tradeshows
