Fullstack developer intern. Noruega

We are seeking a motivated and talented Fullstack Developer Intern to join our tech team. Evvent is an ambitious and innovative startup in the early stages, with a vision to become the leading marketplace for Muslim-friendly event services. Our goal is to revolutionize the event planning industry by providing a platform that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusivity, and delivers exceptional customer experiences. 

Please note: This is an unpaid position, ideal for students or individuals looking to gain valuable real-life experience in a team-oriented environment.

As a full-stack developer intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our tech team and gain hands-on experience in building user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for our event planning platform. We are looking for candidates with a strong passion for full-stack development and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the design and development teams to implement core features and enhancements for the Evvent platform. 

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Ensure the responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility of the frontend interfaces. 

• Optimize performance and user experience. 

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest development trends and technologies. 

Requirements: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related competency. 

• Solid understanding of Next js 13 (app directory) with Typescript, Server Side Rendering (SSR), and Static Site Generation (SSG)

• Experience with tRPC, RESTful API, Serverless Functions and Data Fetching.

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React js or React Native

• Familiarity with GitHub or any other version control software

• Familiarity working with Prisma ORM

• Familiarity with CSS and TailwindCSS

• Familiarity with Stripe Checkout API and Stripe Connect is a plus.

• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Knowledge of other Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Strapi, Sanity or Laravel is a plus.

• Experience with Wordpress CMS and PHP and can customize Wordpress Themes.

• Experience with WordPress REST API is a plus
