Are you our new chef?

We are looking for an experienced chef who is creative, full of ideas, and eager to be a part of a larger kitchen team at Familien Maku. We are very busy and are therefore looking for more skilled employees for our restaurant on Liselejevej in Liseleje.

Maku is a family-owned restaurant that started as a café back in 2017 but has over the past 2-3 years transformed into the most beautiful steakhouse restaurant in North Zealand. Our menu is American-inspired and is constantly varied with blackboard menus from around the world. The food is prepared from scratch, and we only use the best quality ingredients available on the market.

We strive to always be the best, which can also be seen in the development of Maku - and we would really like you to join us on this journey to transform Maku into something even greater!

Who are you?

• Preferably a trained chef (not required) with previous experience.
• Happy, outgoing, present, and smiling.
• Ready to meet new challenges with a big smile!
• A team player, able to multitask, and with a constructive attitude.
• Structured, stable, and flexible.
• Has a high work pace and enjoys being busy.
