Quality Control Manager We are currently looking to recruit a Quality Control Manager for a Food Production site based in Dublin 24. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Quality Control Manager to work within our fast paced environment. Purpose of role: The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for the management of our Quality Department, maintaining site production/quality standards (as per customer and legal requirements) and ensuring the highest standards of food safety are upheld. Key Responsibilities • To ensure the site complies with and maintains BRC Version 7 Grade AA. • To ensure compliance with all legislative and customer standards and ensure that these standards are actively implemented throughout the site. • To advise and promote best practice standards throughout the operation and to ensure customer satisfaction through system and specification verification • Responsible for achieving procedural compliance consistent with regulatory, legal, internal and customer standards • Maintaining customer and site product specifications • Management of company’s traceability program • Responsibility for training of new employees • Liaising with suppliers, Internal and External Auditors when required • Responsible for maintaining Internal Audits as per schedule • Responsible for maintaining sampling schedules as per customer requirements • Responsible for dealing with customer complaints • Responsible for implementing and maintaining SOP’s, Records, HACCP and all other associated paperwork within the Quality Department Experience essential for this role: • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar Quality Management role • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Technically competent with a good understanding of legislative and customer requirements. • Able to demonstrate effective leadership and people management practices • Third level Quality/Technical Qualification • Excellent spoken and written English • Internal auditor training/qualification is essential • Attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team and on own initiative. Additional Information: • Own transport required • Salary dependent on experience.( minimum 2-3 years)
