Megs Fabrication Ltd are fabricators of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium products. They are permitted waste water hauliers and provide plant maintenance and emergency breakdown assistance. Designer and fabricator of stainless steel truck accessories. Provider of laser cutting services.

They are currently looking to recruit a Metal Fabricator/welder based at their workshop in Killurin, Tullamore, Co. Offaly R35 VW53.

The Role:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

Welding of stainless and aluminium components

Carry out work to recognised maintenance standards.

Respond to requests for service and carry out additional repairs to machinery and equipment identified as being necessary to meet operational requirements.

Must display prioritisation skills in deciding when work needs to be carried out.

Be prepared to work on client sites as required.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Comply with all legal, statutory and Company policies and procedures.

Maybe required to work outside of normal working hours to support operations.

Use of company vehicles and plant in accordance with company policies and procedures.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:

Experience in aluminium and stainless welding essential.

Knowledge of using CNC Tube Bender an advantage.

Fluent in both oral and written English.

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.

Full clean driving license.

Certified to weld in MIG.

Team player with ability to work on their own initiative.

Be flexible and prepared to work in any required areas.

A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem solving skills.

Safe Pass and Manual Handling essential
