FINANCIAL ANALYST (w/m/d)

in the GMP environment here in Switzerland!

We are looking for the following qualifications and experience:

Core Responsibilities:

•    Budgeting and Forecasting:

Support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and accuracy in financial projections.

Monitor and report monthly business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and communicating risk factors effectively.

•    Financial Reporting:

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate accounting and cost classifications.

Prepare and review financial reports, including cost of goods sold (COGS) entries, to ensure accurate financial representation.

•    Capital Spending Management:

Oversee the capital spending process, including month-end accruals and capital forecasts.

Collaborate with the Engineering department to execute and monitor capital forecasts effectively.

•    Vendor Management:

Ensure effective financial vendor management, monitoring spending, and ensuring compliance with all requirements.

•    Operational Support:

Work closely with the local Finance Manager to support day-to-day financial operations at the Solothurn plant.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.

•    Internal Controls and Compliance:

Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and maintained.

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and corporate policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

•    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or biological manufacturing environment.

•    Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

•    Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

•    Experience in cost accounting, especially in manufacturing.

•    Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
