Finance Manager, TripStax Hotels Oy, Espoo. Helsinki-Uusimaa

We are expanding our finance team and looking for a Finance Manager to join us in Espoo, Finland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of finance processes, including banking, bookkeeping, billing, reporting, and project management. Proficiency in both English and Finnish is essential for success in this role.

To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with all aspects of the finance function, particularly:

-Banking relationship and administration requirements

-Tax administration, including Corporation Tax and VAT/Sales Tax

-Preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with auditors

-Accounting and bookkeeping, including maintaining relationships and supervising the work of outsourced accounting and payroll service providers

-Billing, invoicing, and credit control, ensuring monthly invoicing is completed and cash is collected afterward

-Reporting and analysis, with experience in meeting deadlines for monthly reporting

-Understand how underlying accounting and billing systems work, with some experience using them. Familiarity with Netvisor as a bookkeeping and invoicing tool is an advantage.

-Be a self-starter who takes the initiative and can work effectively both as part of a team and independently. You should be able to identify and address potential issues promptly.

We are hoping that the candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a finance function within a small to medium-sized company. Previous experience in the travel industry is ideal but not a requirement.
