Job Description:

Faour is seeking a dedicated and talented First Manager (Chef) to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest culinary standards and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef with management experience to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the kitchen staff to work cohesively, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all dishes meet our restaurant's high standards for quality, presentation, and taste. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Guest Interaction: Communicate effectively with guests, addressing any concerns or special requests in a professional and courteous manner to enhance the dining experience.
  • Recipe Development: Regularly update and improve existing recipes, bringing creativity and innovation to the menu while maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs to optimize profitability.
  • Training & Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform at their best.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with team members and guests.
  • Creativity in menu planning and recipe development.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
