External Insulation Contractors (Mayo). West. Irlanda

We are recruiting experienced External Wall Insulation Contractors to join our Approved Contractor Network to work on a wide range of energy efficiency retrofit projects in Mayo and the surrounding counties.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervising daily works on site to ensure that the highest quality standards are being delivered on a consistent manner, within the quality, time and health and safety requirements for the given project.

· Carrying out enabling works for External Wall Insulation (EWI) including alterations to pipework, lighting, removing reveals, putting down protective coverings on all surfaces.

· Boarding insulation in accordance with EWI system guidelines.

· Applying beads, mesh, and base coat layer in accordance with EWI system guidelines.

· Applying a wide range of render finishes including acrylic, silicone, and dry dash in accordance with EWI system guidelines.

· Completing quality stage inspections of work throughout each project.

· Reinstallation of all fittings and finishes.

· Cleaning of all work areas

· Work will include small amounts of internal wall insulation as required.

· Snagging and handover.

Contractor Requirements:

· Must have extensive experience in the installation of External Wall Insulation.

· Certified External Insulation System Training.

· Professional, honest, hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy.

· Be thorough and pay attention to detail.

· Clean and tidy tradesperson.

· Able to use your initiative.

· Fluent English.

· Must have a minimum of 1-2 years in an External Wall Insulation Operative/Supervisor role.

Health & Safety Requirements

· Health and Safety Statement.

· Insurance

. Public Liability of €6.5m.

. Employers Liability of €13m.

· Operative Health & Safety Requirements includes:

. CSCS Safe Pass.

. CSCS Manual Handling Training.

. CSCS Abrasive Wheels Training an advantage, but not essential.

. CSCS Working at Heights an advantage, but not essential.
