Our client is recruiting for an Energy Analyst to be based in London or Dartford. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of circa £27,000 per annum plus company vehicle (business use). Main Responsibilities / Duties: • Analysis of building and process energy consumption using specialist software and MS Excel • Apply and develop numerical models to trend and evaluate performance • Produce regular written reports • Alert clients to abnormal usage patterns • Evaluate and Verify energy efficiency projects • Development of energy data visualisation techniques • Be a main point of contact for clients on the EI helpdesk This role is to deliver data to our clients and our own staff whose quality of delivery depends on the timely and accurate delivery of energy data: • Impacts the EI service delivery quality • Impact on the reputation of the business unit • Impact on performance and productivity of the business unit • Impact on the relationships external to the client. • Impact on the development of products and services to deliver to the market • Impact of the value of the energy analytics platform in its own right The key result areas are innovation of new services and products, effective management of IT capabilities and systems, business service delivery, communication and improvement. Ability to manipulate, run and improve our energy data is paramount. Project management skills will be needed to drive future improvements and change as there is a constant need to upgrade technologies. Qualifications Qualifications or Required Experience: • Enthusiastic, highly numerical with strong analytical skills • Experience of building services is desirable although not essential as training will be provided • Experience in a client facing role • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a history of delivering high quality and accurate work to deadlines • Self-motivating with strong organisational skills • Previous experience with account management is desirable but not essential as training will be provided • Able to challenge the way things are done and look at ways to optimise improvements to the business • Proven delivery in improving efficiency and quality of performance • Ability to work under pressure • Keen to learn with an interest in energy efficiency • Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a numerical / business discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Finance, IT, Science, Engineering) with good academic background • Qualifications such as CEM, CMVP, TEMOL, AEM are desirable, although not essential If you have any questions regarding the role, call the office and ask for Jack: 01745 772218
