The Electrical Technician will form part of the Maintenance and Facility department. He/She will be responsible to perform tasks associated with electrical installations, repairs and maintenance. If necessary, he/she may perform other tasks within the department that are not electrical in nature.

- Monitor the operations and maintenance of electrical installations and systems

- Monitor, document and report on standby power generation equipment

- Set up electrical circuits for special applications and assist in the design requirements for buildings/facilities

- Locate, diagnose equipment and installation failures, and effects timely corrective action

- Document repairs and maintenance carried out in accordance to the maintenance manuals, routine equipment readings, and responses to equipment alarms.

- Coordinate service requirements with outside contractors

- Ensure workshop and on-site safety measures are adhered to by other personnel

- Ensure that cleanliness is preserved when on duty

- Maintain compliance with building and electrical standards and regulations

- Keep updated on technological developments

Ihr Profil:

Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications

- Must be in possession of a Wireman’s licence B certification

- Excellent knowledge of the position’s specific field of expertise.

- Must have ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

- Must be computer literate.

- Requires limited direction.

- Ideally a minimum of 3 years work experience enabling the application of technical knowledge to perform assigned tasks independent of supervision.

Lufthansa Technik Malta Ltd. (LTM) was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (92%) and Air Malta (8%). The MRO service provider (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), based at Malta International Airport in Luqa, provides its customers with line and base maintenance services for short haul and long haul aircraft in the Airbus A320/A330/340/350 series. Initially specializing in C Checks and comprehensive aircraft modifications, the company has now significantly expanded its service portfolio following the construction of a 64,000 square meter hangar complex. The spectrum of services offered has grown to encompass extensive maintenance work with wide ranging capabilities including structural and composite fibre repairs, complex testing procedures and comprehensive cabin refits.
