Early Childhood Educators are recruiting for our creche located at Unit 4, Airport Business Park, Airport Road, Killaspugbrone, Strandhill, Co. Sligo.

We are a professionally run Creche and Montessori, offering the highest standards of child care in a friendly and welcoming environment. As an Early Childhood Educator with us your duties will include, but not be limited to, the following;

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to promote language, cognitive, social and physical development of the children.

Create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters exploration, creativity, and independent thinking.

- Observe, record and assess individual children's progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet their specific needs.

Collaborate with fellow staff members, parents, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.

Ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for the care, safety and welfare of the children

Provide for the holistic needs of the children

Promote and help maintain an organised, clean, safe, and well equipped learning environment

Follow established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice.

A relevant Childcare or Early Years qualification, minimum QQI Level 5 or equivalent (e.g. Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Childcare, Basic/Primary Education, Early Years Education, etc.)

Minimum 1 year’s practical experience in a childcare setting

Sincere and genuine love of children

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A desire to learn progressively throughout your career

First Aid, Manual Handling and Food Safety training is an advantage
