The Falls Hotel & Spa are currently recruiting for an experienced Duty Manager to join the management team. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the quality and standards of the Hotel are maintained at the highest level and customer expectations are met and exceeded. The role will provide an opportunity to develop skills in all departments of the hotel. The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hardworking and a team player. The applicant will be able to provide excellent customer service to our guests. Responsibilities: To work with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the hotel Meeting and greeting guests •recruiting, training and monitoring staff; •planning work schedules for individuals and teams; •dealing with customer complaints and comments; •addressing problems and troubleshooting; •ensuring events and conferences run smoothly; •dealing with contractors and suppliers; •carrying out inspections of property and services; •ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. Dealing with guest queries in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction Maintaining quality standards throughout the hotel Ensuring a high level of customer care exists throughout the hotel Providing consistent management presence throughout the hotel during key times To liaise with each Head of Department to ensure that the department is functioning correctly in relation to staffing levels, customer care etc Providing assistance to all departments during busy periods Assisting with weekly labour costs, ensuring they are in line with business levels Managing staff and delegating duties Compliance with Health and Safety regulations Recording any accidents that may occur on the premises during the shift To communicate with relevant departments with regard to updated information or special requests with regard to an event. Ensuring the effective running of any department under your supervision The successful candidate: Previous experience as a Duty Manager F&B experience is essential Excellent communication and leadership skills Fluent English, both verbal and written Standards driven, flexible Focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service Well presented Maintain a professional image at all times Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
