Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Drywall Plasterer to measure, cut, install, and secure plasterboard and ornamental plasterwork to walls and ceilings. The ideal candidate will be proficient in checking surface levels using line, spirit level, and straight edge, ensuring the highest quality finish for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

    Measure, cut, install, and secure plasterboard and ornamental plasterwork to walls and ceilings.

    Check surface levels using line, spirit level, and straight edge to ensure an even and precise finish.

    Apply and smooth coats of plaster, producing a finished surface using hand tools or mechanical spray.

    Cover and seal joints between boards and finished surfaces.

    Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to the highest standards.

    Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.

    Report progress and any issues to the project manager.

Qualifications

    Proven experience as a Drywall Plasterer or in a similar role.

    Proficient in measuring, cutting, installing, and securing plasterboard.

    Skilled in applying and smoothing plaster for a quality finish.

    Ability to check surface levels using line, spirit level, and straight edge accurately.

    Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

    Excellent attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a plus.

    Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour.
