Driver (part-time). Irlanda

PURPOSE OF JOB:

To work within the objectives of the organisation, which are to provide a range of social services within the Community.  You will be responsible for transportation of clients as a member of a two-person team.

Duties to include:

1.    To liaise closely with Management Team re: issues concerning the running of the Centre.

2.    Transportation of clients on a daily basis.

3.    To ensure that vehicles for which you are responsible are at all times in a roadworthy condition and make such arrangements as are necessary for the maintenance, cleanliness and repair of such vehicles, by reporting to Management/necessary agencies.

4.    To exchange skills and knowledge relating to bus safety – to pass on expertise to the standard as learned.

5.    To undertake any other function relevant to the position deemed necessary by the Management.

Prospective candidates will have;

    Full D/D1 Licence

    At least 3 years experience

    Up to date CPC courses.

    Excellent  communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work on own initiative while also able to work as part of a team.

Desirable:

    Qualification in First Aid.

Garda Vetting will be required before commencement of post.  Short listing will apply.
