Door Technician. Irlanda

As a Door Technician in Dublin.

What you’ll do:

Conduct schedule tests and calibration procedures to verify the functionality and accuracy of electrical components within the door systems.

Adjust settings as necessary to optimize performance.

Have a good understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Fault find to component or circuit board level

Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance on a wide range of industrial doors, dock levellers, loading docks and air locks.

Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and address any concerns or questions on systems.

Role will include working on various specialised door types, training to be provided. Continual learning also offered to assist the role

Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements and safety standards related to scope of work

Makes decisions within parameters set by line Manager using job/specialist experience

Produce technical reports that explain ongoing issues and faults.

Maintain tools, equipment, PPE in a good working condition.

Report to supervisor, keeping them informed of activity progress and highlight any problems

What you bring:

Industrial door experience including installations, service & repairs

Experience in mechanical, commercial, and/or industrial maintenance roles

A good knowledge of electrical & mechanical fault-finding.

Must have excellent communication skills, with an ability to work efficiently within a team and individually

A safe approach to using power tools and hand tools

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with automated door systems

Technical training in electrical systems preferred

A systematic approach to problem solving

Familiar with the use of MS Office, with the ability to produce reports
