The role:
Galleri Susanne Ottesen is seeking an ambitious, highly organized, and collaborative individual to join our dynamic team as Director.
As a key representative of Galleri Susanne Ottesen you will assume a pivotal role in the daily running of the gallery with a focus on operations, while also assuming artwork and client registration; administration; communications strategy (internal and external); data management; exhibition, fair and events production; sales; and artist liaison duties. As a Director, you will also be contributing to the strategic development of the gallery and its programme.
To succeed in this role, you will have 5+ years of commercial gallery experience and existing connections within the Danish and wider Nordic art industry. It would be a benefit to have an established international network. You excel working independently but also embrace collaborative working. Part of your role is to manage our online presence, which means you will have to understand how to work strategically with outreach and promotion on SoMe and our website, using SEO to enhance our visibility and are curious and open to learning new database systems, CMS and software.
As Director, you will gain unparalleled access to our diverse network and comprehensive knowledge of the inner workings of a modern art gallery in swift development.
