About the Job

As Director of Product Management for Robotic lawn mowers you are globally responsible for Husqvarna’s complete range of Robotic lawn mowers towards consumers. The robotic lawn mower is a key product in Husqvarna’s offering towards consumers who are constantly looking for innovative, smart and sustainable solutions for their gardens. The market is developing at a fast pace and you need to be able to combine an agile approach with strategic long-term planning and actions. The role is an important bridge between the market and Husqvarna and you have many point of contacts both within Husqvarna and outside the company. You work in close cooperation with our sales and marketing functions to secure our market leadership position in robotics, driving a profitable growth.


Your Main tasks will be:

Based on consumer insight define and set the Portfolio roadmap that will meet the customer needs and continue to build the business to maximize sales and profitability of our robotic solutions.Balance the portfolio development in regards to innovation, cost-out, complexity and product qualityDrive and develop the robotics accessory offeringsCreate project proposals and investment requests that supports the roadmapBe responsible for monitoring the robotic lawn mower market and make sure Husqvarna is competitive in each segment where we playSet the go-to-market approach and together with Brand & Marketing and Sales drive launch activities to reach a successful market- and business impact. Strategic pricing, activation and offerings positioning are important parts of this joint effort.Manage and develop your own team consisting of Launch Managers, Product Managers and Product Specialists 


Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration who has done comparable tasks within a large organization during at least 7 years. You have today a senior position and have a solid experience in consumer insight driven product management. As a person you are business minded, growth-oriented and consumer driven with a strategic approach. You lead a team through a coaching leadership style and understands how to manage different personalities and high-performing talents as a team. Experience from a consumer oriented technology company is a plus. The role is located in Huskvarna but we are open to flexible solutions. Fluent in English both written and spoken is a necessity. Fluent in Swedish both written and spoken is an advantage.
