The opportunity
We are looking for a Supply Chain Process Improvement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Goodyear Mounting Solutions.
Primary purpose of the position:
• Process and system expert: Analyze existing processes to identify key areas for improvement in line with Goodyear's process guidelines and strategy ; be the 1st point of contact for system issues within Goodyear Mounting Solutions
• Develop and implement process improvements: design and implement process improvement plans while working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of changes
• Measure impact and adjust as needed: monitor the impact of process changes and make adjustments as required ; continuously evaluate the effectiveness of improvements
• Create process documentation: document updates processes, workflows and procedures
• One Team: Strong collaboration with Operation (logistics and production) and IT department to deliver operational excellence according to the One Team philosophy. Be aware of the wider business environment
Responsibilities:
• Support: Be the reference person regarding business system issues for Goodyear Mounting Solutions
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate effectiveness of current operation systems and identify improvement potentials
• Testing & training : Ensure testing plans are being executed ; facilitate the knowledge transfer to the organization (training & documentation) and inform all concerned teams about process & system changes
• Reporting: report relevant requirements for the organization & report and document savings resulting from Focus Improvement projects
• Build Talents and Teams: Support best practices sharing with Operation team members and support / coordinate trainings
To join our team you will need:
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing and/or logistical environment
• Strong working knowledge of IT tools and data analytics / mining
• Ability to multi-task and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills necessary to train users of varying experience levels
• Ability to accurately explain complex situations to others using information systems language and terms
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
• Willingness to develop knowledge and disseminate
• Competent to work in different database environments (SAP, EDW…)
• Language: Fluent in English - German / French as an asset
