Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Media and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our online presence, engaging with our diverse community, and amplifying our mission through effective digital communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

    Digital Strategy and Management

    Develop and implement a comprehensive digital media strategy aligned with Common Purpose Ireland’s goals.

    Manage and maintain our digital platforms, including the website, social media channels, and email marketing systems.

    Monitor digital trends and provide insights to improve engagement and outreach.

    Create, curate, and publish engaging content across all digital platforms.

    Collaborate with the leadership team and programme directors to develop content that highlights our leadership programmes.

    Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and values.

    Social Media Management

    Oversee all social media accounts

    Grow our social media presence by increasing followers, interactions, and overall reach.

    Develop and execute social media campaigns that promote our programmes and events.

    Track and analyse the performance of digital campaigns and online content, providing regular reports to the leadership team.

    Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve digital communication effectiveness.

    Collaboration and Support:

    Work closely with the leadership team to align digital communication efforts with organisational strategic plan.

    Support the planning and promotion of programmes.

    Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other communications materials to participants.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    A master's degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media is advantageous

    2-4 years of experience in digital media, communications, or a similar role, preferably in the non-profit or leadership development sector.

    Proven experience in managing digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing systems.

    Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.

    Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Hootsuite, MailChimp).

    Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

    Video, photo and audio editing experience.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
