Megs Fabrication Ltd are fabricators of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium products. They are permitted waste water hauliers and provide plant maintenance and emergency breakdown assistance. Designer and fabricator of stainless steel truck accessories. Provider of laser cutting services.

They are currently looking to recruit an operative for their CNC Tube Bender based at their workshop in Killurin, Tullamore, Co. Offaly R35 VW53.

The Role:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

Machine programming in accordance with customer requirements

Carry out work to recognised maintenance standards.

Monitor machine operations and record operational data..

Stock taking of steel and order to requirement.

Must display prioritisation skills in deciding when work needs to be carried out.

Quality checking of all products and communicating any defects to management.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Comply with all legal, statutory and Company policies and procedures.

Maybe required to work outside of normal working hours to support operations.

Use of company vehicles and plant in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Use of CNC press brake and laser machine may also be required - full training will be provided.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes:

Experience in the operation of CNC Tube Bender

Knowledge of design packages e.g. Solidworks is an advantage

Fluent in both oral and written English.

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.

Full clean driving license.

Team player with ability to work on their own initiative.

Be flexible and prepared to work in any required areas.

A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem solving skills.
