Job Title: Data Technician

Position Overview: As a Data Technician, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and testing of network systems. You will work with both copper and fibre cabling and ensure that all installations meet our high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and cabling, including copper and fibre cables.

Perform testing of installations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.

Support data collection, analysis, and reporting tasks.

Maintain detailed records of work performed, inventory used, and testing results.

Collaborate with team members to develop and implement efficient solutions.

Participate in training sessions and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in network installation or data management is preferred.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, including cabling standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
