About the department In Global Development, we take responsibility for new products based on proteins and peptides from early development phases to product introduction. We are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide securing that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams with focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society. Data Management Operations, a part of Global Development is responsible for the data collection through the set-up of our many systems and interfaces ultimately ensuring a proper and timely delivery of Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) data to our internal stakeholders. We are seeking a new colleague to take up the position as Data Management Specialist. The working place will be our office building in Søborg. The position You will be responsible for ensuring that data management activities are planned and executed accordingly in close collaboration with our global Data Management organisation. Not only will you be the key player in the planning and set-up of clinical data management systems, you will also take part in ensuring the right level of data quality on ongoing trials and be part of the data base lock process. Besides working effectively with vendors and suppliers for different project needs, you will also gain experience in processes related to outsourcing departmental and other activities. Creating and maintaining project standards throughout the trials is also part of your job. Further, you will identify risk areas and take preventive actions and thereby play a significant role ensuring the success of the project. Moreover, you will act as a data management subject matter expert and mentor within the department and take part in processes improvement initiatives. Travelling is expected as a normal part of this role. Qualifications You may hold a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Natural Science or a similar degree in medical, nursing or pharmacy. An additional computer science degree is also preferred. You are expected to have 7 or more years of experience in clinical data management. You must have a good understanding of clinical drug development and GCP. Since Novo Nordisk is implementing CDISC across the organisation, experience with CDISC is an advantage. Knowledge of Oracle Clinical, Inform and SAS experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is good at stakeholder management, risk assessment and process improvement. You have previous experience managing projects and you are able to build and maintain good relationship and collaborate with various people across countries. The position requires your flexibility and openness to frequent changes related to the projects. You are expected to be proficient in English language both speaking and writing.
