Position

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will use cutting-edge technologies within the Azure stack to develop efficient and secure data solutions that will give our business processes a significant boost. Your challenge? Translating complex data requirements into robust models and integrating various data streams into a seamless system.

Tasks/responsibilities

• You will be the architect of our data models, forming the foundation for our analytics and reporting.
• You will build and maintain data pipelines in Azure using tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
• Everything you build will meet the latest security standards and comply with all data privacy regulations.
• You will closely collaborate with Business Process Owners and your IT colleagues to turn their needs into concrete data solutions, ensuring they get the most out of these solutions.
• You will be the go-to person for all data-related issues within the organization.
• You stay on top of the latest trends and use them to take our data environments to the next level.

• You have a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field, or you have acquired equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in an Azure environment.
• You are proficient in SQL, Python, and/or Scala. Experience with data modelling and ETL processes is a big plus.
• You have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy turning complex problems into smart solutions.
• You can explain technical concepts clearly and convincingly, even to non-technical colleagues.
• You are fluent in English, in speaking and writing.
