Are you looking to apply your computer science and data analysis skills to customer-oriented activities? Do you enjoy seeing your visualisations make an impact on the decision-making processes of the business and customers alike?Grundfos has a strategic focus on digitalisation, and we want to explore value creation based on data in an opportunistic and fast experimental way.In this role, you will get to influence how we work with digitalisation, as you join the Data Analytics department in Bjerringbro, Denmark. We are part of Grundfos Technology & Innovation, and you will be 1 of 5 colleagues responsible for optimising the Grundfos product programmes, making sense of data and developing data based algorithms. We also have a data stewardship role for data created by Grundfos products. You refer to Senior Manager Christian Rasmussen.Develop tools to analyse and visualise dataAs a data analyst, you are responsible for making sense of data to offer targeted value creation for Grundfos customers. Working with the digital offerings that we give to our customers, you will find and translate domain knowledge to be used in data analysis, e.g. through our Grundfos GO app, which provides data on pump operations. In that process, you will primarily focus on:Data clean-up and transformationData relation modellingData analysisVisualisation“Your challenge will be to work fast to get the results we need in time – but at the same time get enough detail to get satisfactory solutions that solves our customers challenges and pains. So it is absolutely essential that you can make data concrete and useable,” says Christian.International team with cross-functional collaborationYou will work between data sources and the decision-making context of our end users. Here, you will collaborate with the IT organisation as well the business to develop tools and platforms that create value across the data supply chain. This involves collaboration with experts in everything from hydraulics in pumps to digital offerings.“You will become part of an international team with a great atmosphere. And you will work closely with other data scientists and analysts who are all experienced in making sense of data and have pump domain knowledge,” elaborates Christian.You will also work with an external network of universities, partners and customers. Moreover, you will collaborate with an international network of business developers, programme managers and IT back office to apply state-of-the-art data analysis and optimisation methods.Solid experience and an analytical mind-setYou have a degree in computer science, physics, mathematics or similar – or you come with a background in BI or statistics. Moreover, you have practical experience in writing code, applying data analysis and visualisation. You contribute with knowledge of basic statistics and preferably also time-series prediction and business models. Finally, you speak and write English fluently.“On a personal level, you know how to create results through collaboration and networking, and you communicate openly about challenges and results – also to non-specialists and in a multi-cultural organisation.
